Two masked men, one armed with a knife targetted the One Stop in Albion Street on Monday.
A number of bottles of spirits and an undisclosed sum of money was taken.
A 29 year old man has been charged with robbery.
Police are keen to hear from any witnesses to the robbery who haven't yet come forward.
