HS2 campaigners appealing for cash to help them with legal challenge

Thursday, January 26th 2012 09:45

A campaign group opposing a proposed high speed railway through Warwickshire is looking for cash to fund a legal challenge against the project.

Transport Secretary Justine Greening gave the go ahead for the London to Birmingham line known as HS2 earlier this month.

Kenilworth based Stop HS2 say the consultation process that saw the 250 mile an hour route approved was flawed.

They have until April to submit a legal challenge.
